And it can. I help individuals break the cycle and overcome anxiety and traumatic experiences that continue to impact their lives today. Whether it was a one-time occurrence or several occurrences over the course of their life, and has left them feeling alone, hurt, misunderstood, not trust their own judgment, and scared of being vulnerable again.
How I can help
You won’t just talk about it while I nod with a piece of paper on my lap. Instead, I utilize very specific techniques and protocols such as EMDR counseling combined with Somatic interventions, and parts work that have been scientifically proven to be effective. More importantly, allows for deeper healing and an internal shift in the nervous system.
You are unique, and so are your life experiences. It’s important that we start where you are, develop a plan specific to you, and adjust as needed.
Once deeper wounds are healed, we will focus on how to set the right boundaries for you, strengthen your understanding of a safe, healthy relationship so you have a good balance of security and vulnerability in your life.
My hope is that when you leave counseling, you are feeling at ease yet in control, and full of self-compassion. The most important relationship you can have is the relationship with Yourself. All others will follow easily and naturally.
